  In addition to designs named in homage to the wonderful Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Thelonious Monk, we also have this gloriously vibrant pattern called ‘Dizzy’, inspired by, yes you’ve guessed it, Dizzy Gillespie with vibrant pops of pink alongside olive green and a fantastically vibrant teal blue.Like Sister Rosetta and Monk, Dizzy was a talented child who could play the piano at 4, was 1 of 9 children, and was born in 1917 in South Carolina. I’m lucky enough to have been an Interior Designer for over 10 years now and have a burning passion for pattern, eclectic, maximalist interiors and a fascination with colour, especially the way colour can not only transform a space but also affect the moods, emotions and even the health of those who use it. Great to be featured in a recent post about Wirksworth by our super talented friends and fellow creatives Curiousa & Curiousa. Blackpop made the move to this special town over a year ago now and since then we've not ooked back. New 'Collector's' collection launching at Decorex 2018

Blackpop are delighted to be launching their new collection of Wallpapers & Fabrics at Decorex in September 2018. The ‘Collector’s’ Collection is inspired by the Sir John Soane’s Museum, London’s hidden gem and treasure trove of antiquities and wonder. Collaborating with the museum and directly working and reworking architects drawings, paintings and objects d'art, Blackpop has undoubtedly created its most opulent & dramatic work to date.
