Maxine, the creative force behind Blackpop and our principal designer, is currently on a trip of a lifetime – a journey blending inspiration and adventure. For the month of April, she's taken herself on a business trip to Las Vegas and a desert road trip through the Wild Wild West – from Arizona to California and finally Nevada.

She's in Vegas to meet clients extraordinaire, the amazing Spiegelworld team, headed by ringmaster Ross Mollison – who's only just gone and bought a town in the desert, Nipton.
Ross has a vision for Nipton: an experimental circus town where artists go to dream. It's a perfect fit for Blackpop and Maxine will be in her element. Nipton sits on the edge of the Mojave Desert in California, just an hour from Vegas.
Team Blackpop will be working on this project alongside the refurb of one of Las Vegas's top go-to restaurants.

Spiegelworld has been electrifying the Las Vegas Strip with signature smash-hit shows, including Absinthe, a resident show in the Green Room at Caesars Palace - we're excited to read Maxine's review!
In the meantime, Maxine's soaking it all up. The contrast between the sparkle and hum of Vegas and the silent expanse of the desert - she's currently spending time with locals in Grapevine Mesa, on the western edge of the Hualapia Indian Reservation.
