From the initial ideas to the final reveal, seeing a project come together is what we love the most - and our latest collaboration for a three-screen cinema in Sale, Manchester has been nothing short of incredible.

Designed alongside its owners Amanda and Tony Mundin this boutique cinema is the perfect example of where out and out glamour meets the latest in digital technology,  resulting in a space that is truely epic.

Showcasing a stunning array of our designs which all come together in a harmonious blend. Reaching beyond aesthetic, this project has been about creating a fully immersive, visually rich experience from the moment you arrive!

To celebrate Blackpop adorning every corner of this boutique business, we are hosting an in person event for Cheshire & Yorkshire based Interior Designers, upholsterers and soft furnishing houses. 

Join us for something chilled and immerse yourself in everything Blackpop has to offer. For those new to us, there will be an introduction to Blackpop and an illustrated talk by Maxine Hall our principal design director on the 'Making of Mary' - our most iconic and award winning design.

Then you'll be free to discuss all your latest project needs with our studio team (Paula, Lily & Heidi), who will be on hand and with take away sample packs.

In addition throughout the morning, there will be a live upholstery demonstration from TV's own Simion Hawtin-Smith, self confessed vintage chair obsessive and founder of Reloved Upholstery, Stockport.

In the main bar area of the cinema, the ceiling and walls are covered in bespoke prints. A custom mural wraps around the walls reflecting the designs that feature in the 3 screens. The bar top itself is printed in 'Monk' - these durable and stylish surfaces are suitable for domestic and commercial spaces.

The screen rooms are also adorned from head to toe in Blackpops sustainable and commercial velvets. Our fabrics have between 45,000 and 200,00 martindale and are available with a Crib 5 Fire Safety rating, making them the perfect option for a wide range of uses from luxury Hotels, Bars, Restaurants... and now Cinemas!
