'Galliot is in part inspired by the mood and colours reflected in J M W Turners paintings, famous for capturing misty seascapes and the often turbulent life lived at sea in the 1700’s.
At the helm could be the infamous fictional pirate ‘Blackpop’ stocking her ship with unique treasures and making voyages in uncharted waters, shrouded in mystery and history.'
The tapestry is finished with a unique ruche trim and is backed with a heavy cotton fabric.
