Float back in time with a bespoke upholstered Parker Knoll chair
in beautiful 'Monk' velvet.
Turquoise and rich burgundy tones paired with vibrant splashes of orange perfectly complimenting the sprayed beech wood frame [ in Farrow & Ball's 'Charlottes Locks' ].
Designed by Samuel Parker in the 70's this 'Ashby Wing' PK991chair is sure to make a bold and stylish statement. 'Monk' is one of the ‘Birdland’ designs, named after
the famous New York jazz club founded in the late 40’s.
How super cool is this vintage Ashby wing G-Plan chair in 'Capriccio'.
This is proof that reupholstering is definitely a worthwhile option, when a retro piece provides all the style and comfort you could wish for.
Yes, your older chair could look like this with a little Blackpop magic!
Working in collaboration with Sir John Soane's Museum, 'Capriccio' contains reassembled and reworked segments of Canoletto's Venice paintings.
Just look at this swivel egg chair, in our stunning 'Kado' velvet.
Such an iconic design, reminiscent of star wars and barbarella, but fitting so easily in a classic contemporary setting. I am sure that Arne Jacobsen and Fritz Hansen who are hailed as the original innovators of the egg chair would approve.
The 'Kado' design is inspired by the world of gaming and named after the inventor of Space Invaders. You may even spot one or two amongst the vivid 70's inspired design!
